In August 2015 I did four short day-trips out into the Murray scrub east of Adelaide. I was looking at large acreages for sale around Walker Flat, Swan Reach, Sedan, and Cambrai.
The area is dry but still picturesque, particularly at sunrise & sunset. There are also emu, wild goat, and plenty of kangaroos roaming around:
