After my Mundrabilla expedition, I continued on to explore the WA goldfields for a whole month, from Kalgoorlie all the way up to Leonora and then out past Laverton.

The weather was extremely hot during the day, but the nights cooled down nicely and were generally very pleasant. As my tent had been destroyed at Mundrabilla, I was using my Burke & Wills swag. I didn’t miss the tent, or I would’ve picked up a replacement.
