Mona, near Hobart, is an incredible museum. It evolved from David Walsh’s Moorilla Museum of Antiquities, which was founded in 2001, and closed in 2007 to undergo a $75 million renovation. It reopened on January 21, 2011, as the Museum of Old and New Art.
